Suspects identified as Chris Gilbert Ambriz, Brandon Gilbert Ambriz, and Salvador Hernandez
Three suspects have been arrested in Norwalk in a shooting that also resulted in confiscation of weapons and ammunition.
The incident took place on Tuesday after a 16-year-old Hispanic female and a 47-year-old Hispanic female were the victims of an Assault With A Deadly Weapon when “unknown suspects shot at them.”
Norwalk Sheriff’s Captain Patrick Maxwell said the shooting occurred at 8:25 PM, at the intersection of Claressa Avenue and Mapledale Avenue in Norwalk and that “neither victim was injured.”
Maxwell said that Norwalk Deputies obtained a description of the suspect vehicle which was broadcast to other patrol units in the field.
“At approximately 10 PM, deputies located a vehicle matching the description at a local motel, located in the 14700 block of Firestone Boulevard in La Mirada,” Maxwell said.
Deputies detained three male adults who were near the vehicle.
Investigation led deputies to recover a firearm and ammunition possibly used in the crime.
Arrested where Norwalk resident Chris Gilbert Ambriz, age 31, Brandon Gilbert Ambriz, 18 also from Norwalk and Salvador Hernandez, 37 and a resident of Chino.
They are being charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Firearm and booked at Norwalk Sheriff’s Station, in lieu of $50,000 bail.
