Hews Media Group-Community Newspapers has learned that Cerritos College Superintendent Dr. Linda Lacy has informed members of the Board of Trustees and other administrators at the Norwalk based campus that she will be ending her employment in June, 2015.
High ranking sources at Cerritos College told HMG-CN two weeks ago that Lacy had “seriously began planning an exit strategy” from her post that she has held since being hired in 2009.
Lacy has held private meetings with members of her “Kitchen Cabinet” to informed them of her decision. Lacy’s contract ends in 2015.
Sources also say that Lacy may leave earlier.
Previously, she served as the Vice Chancellor of Student Services and Operations at Riverside Community College District and past Interim President of Riverside City College.
