The Christ Cathedral in Orange prior to the pandemic.

The Catholic Diocese of Orange posted plans to reopen for public Mass to resume in phases starting June 14.
But Bishop Kevin Vann has extended the dispensation excusing Catholics from the obligation to attend Mass until large gatherings are deemed safe again.
“The pandemic is far from over, so we will begin with small steps,” said Diocese of Orange Bishop Kevin Vann in a statement. “Realizing that reinfection is a concern, as we saw occurred in Texas and elsewhere, I am asking our pastors to prepare their churches to ensure that these guidelines are followed without exception.”
The first phase includes allowing small groups of healthy people to gather for limited Mass, the second phase will allow for larger groups; the third will permit choirs and social gatherings. All phases will require participants to follow strict guidelines for social distancing and disinfection, officials said.
The diocese is asking all parishes to observe the following rules and guidelines:
For the most part, Catholic churches located throughout Orange County are in the elite areas. Very seldom, see a Catholic Church in a ghetto. That said, residents will think outside the box and use creative/critical thinking and will not attend Catholic- Services inside of a church.
Most churches have nice outside atrium, great parking lots, parking lot decorated with the full station of the cross and so forth…..Parishioners will think about attending service, when a vaccine is created for covid-19. Compounds of must churches have fine garden sculptures, which can be included as particles for outdoor church services.
Any type of Gathering Place: churches, theaters, gyms, convention Halls Etc. are remote breeding grounds for germs, and I don’t care how clean it is, there’s always areas which are off limits to being thoroughly cleaned.
Catholic Church in nearby Hawaiian Garden really must change, way way to much orthodox intimacy inside the compounds, which is a magnetic petri dish for any germs.
Ban seniors from interior compounds of St Hedwigs/ Rossmoor, white washing 90% congregation away.
