The unsolved murder of Cerritos resident Kristine Holmstedt is being featured this week on a Southern California news program in hopes of bringing the killer to justice.
Holmstedt was murdered in front of her Cerritos home at Jeanette Avenue and Aclare Street on November 19, 2004, the night before her 62nd birthday.
At the time, her husband told investigators that she was killed “by a travelling salesman in a drive-by shooting.”
Now Fox LA reporter Tony Valdez has put the unsolved crime back in the public view with this weeks segment on “LA’s Most Wanted.”
