Man murdered on Dinard St in Norwalk on Sunday; Second homicide in city since Friday

For the second time in less than three days, Norwalk Sheriff’s officials have had to grapple with another homicide.

On Sunday, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives responded to the 14400 block of Dinard Avenue, Norwalk, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man.

The victim was standing outside the location when a truck drove up. Two male Hispanic suspects got out of the truck and fired multiple rounds at the victim.

The victim was struck by the gunfire. The suspects drove away in the truck in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to a local hospital by friends where the victim was pronounced dead. There is no further information available at this time.

On Friday, a female adult was found stabbed to death in her home at the 11900 block of Allard Street. According to Deputy Kim Manatt with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department the murder on Friday took place at around 3:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
