GRAPHIC VIDEO: Man Attacked With Fire Bomb In Long Beach; Suspect Wanted

Long Beach Police are searching for a suspect who was responsible for throwing a Molotov cocktail on a  54 year-old man outside of a market on Friday night, and the entire crime was caught on video tape.


On Sunday, LBPD released the store’s surveillance footage that shows a suspect, in his 20’s, throwing the dangerous explosive fire bomb on the victim.  The video is graphic.

Police say, when the suspect ran out from the alley and “threw a bottle containing an unknown flammable liquid at the victim as he sat outside the entrance of El Paisano Ranch Market near the corner of PCH and Pacific Ave.”

Footage obtained by local media outlets, including Los Cerritos Community Newspaper, show a massive  fireball exploding around the victim and narrowly missed and woman with her baby in a stroller.

Though the victim’s name is being withheld, he remains in the hospital with burns to the lower part of his body.
