Carjacking in Lomita Leads to Death of Man

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are en route to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, 1000 West Carson Street, Torrance, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, when a man who was standing near a doorway to a business in the 1800 block of Pacific Coast Highway, Lomita, was struck by a stolen vehicle.

The man was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday date.
