A major car accident on the southbound 710 Freeway in Long Beach on Friday night has resulted in at least one death, and the closing of the normally crowded highway.
California Highway Patrol is reporting that the large vehicle accident was caused by a wrong way driver near Anaheim Street. Several rescue workers were sent to the scene.
Traffic was diverted into the nearby Terminal Island Freeway as well other area streets.

One of the injured driver is my niece, just received an update critical but stable going to surgery as we speak, laws have to be stricter when it involves drinking and driving.
Thank you to all for concerns. My Daughter Heather is still giving a fight. She’s critical but stable.
