Four injured, three arrested after stolen car crashes at Horst and Alondra

A stolen car collided into another passenger vehicle at the intersection of Alondra Boulevard and Horst Avenue in Artesia on Tuesday night which resulted in four injuries and the arrest of three individuals who were responsible for causing the accident.

The three suspects driving the stolen compact car were confirmed as being two female Hispanics and one male Hispanic, and all three will be book on several felony charges.  They were taken via ambulances to area hospitals.   

A brief pursuit took place before the crash took place.

The area was closed during the investigation.

The conditions of the injured three suspects were not known, according to Lt. Joe Nicassio, with the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station at of 11 p.m..

The driver in the passenger vehicle was also injured and was also taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The names of the suspects and the injured driver of the other car have not been released.

Los Cerritos Community Newspaper will have additional updates on this situation on Wednesday.
