Law Enforcement hunt for Denny’s Armed Robbery Suspect in Commerce

Law enforcement is looking for this suspect who is responsible for robbing the Denny’s in Commerce on December 10.

Law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who is responsible for robbing a popular eatery in Commerce.

On Monday, December 10, at 11:40 PM, a suspect entered Denny’s Restaurant at 5142 Triggs Street, Commerce, went to the front counter, and placed an order.

“When the register was opened the suspect pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the cashier and reached over the counter to take the money from the register,” a Sheriff’s spokesperson said.

A similar incident occurred at a Denny’s Restaurant in the city of Orange earlier the same evening.

The suspect is described as a Male Hispanic, 30-35 years old, 5’05”, 160 lbs.
