An arrest has been made in the January 2nd shooting death of Artesia resident Jimmy Hernandez who was gunned down on Gard Avenue in Norwalk.
Norwalk Sheriff Captain Pat Maxwell confirmed the information to Los Cerritos Community Newspaper in an email on Wednesday night. The arrest took place in the city of Anaheim.
Maxwell confirmed that the suspect arrested is Andrew Ramos, age 28, who is also a resident of Norwalk and is being held on a $2.1 million bail. Maxwell also tells LCCN that Ramos is a “documented gang member.”
The arrest of Ramos was made at the 1200 block of E. La Palma Ave.
