(Norwalk) California State Assemblyman Ian Calderon (D-57th District) will be appearing at a comprehensive “Town Hall” style meeting in Norwalk next week to talk about the current massive expansion of Interstate 5 that is currently taking place in the Norwalk, Cerritos, La Mirada area.
Calderon, along with officials from the California Transportation Department (CalTrans), the City of Norwalk, and Los Angeles County Metro, will be hosting the event on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to specifically discuss and update the community about the huge infrastructure project.
The town hall will be held at the Norwalk Arts & Sports Complex in the Sproul Room at Norwalk Park located 13000 Clarkdale Avenue, Norwalk.
Representatives from CalTrans will be available to address questions and concerns on construction activities, traffic mitigation, design plans and right-of-way.
Calderon spokesperson Daniel Fierro told Los Cerritos Community Newspaper that questions regarding the event can be directed by calling the Assemblyman’s office at (562) 692-5858.
