The Brooklyn Bridge is completely closed due to police activity.
Police say an unattended vehicle was left on the bridge, and they have closed it down in both directions to investigate.
The van has no plates or VIN number.
The vehicle was found after 5:20 p.m. on Monday in the Manhattan bound lanes.
Originally only that span of the bridge was closed, but police eventually closed the entire bridge.
