A violent stabbing in Norwalk on Monday afternoon has resulted in one female adult sustaining serious injuries and the search for a female suspect who fled from the scene.
The crime forced local law enforcement officials to seal off an area around Imperial Highway and Domart Avenue.
According to Norwalk Sheriff’s Watch Commader Sgt. Wilkening, the altercation took place between two adult females behind the Torch Room Bar at around 2:35 p.m.
The victim, whose identity or her age or race, has not been made public . She was taken to a nearby hospital where it appears that her condition is listed as “serious,” according to Wilkening.
“We are not sure if the victim is going to pull through this or not,” Wilkening told Los Cerritos Community Newspaper.
