An adult male has been stabbed to death on Carmenita Road on Friday night prompting Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detectives to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The stabbing took place in the 11000 block of Carmenita Road, unincorporated Whittier.
Hews Media Group-Community Newspaper has learned that deputies from the Norwalk Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon call.”
The area is near the intersection of Carmenita Road and Lakeland Road.
When armed officers arrived, they found the victim lying on the curb suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was transported to local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The name of the victim has not been made public.
