Norwalk Seeks Entries for Halloween Parade

 

The City of Norwalk will be hosting the 31st Annual Arturo Sanchez Sr., Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 18 and is seeking individuals, veterans, and groups to participate.  The parade will take place on Saturday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. and will begin at the intersection of Pioneer Boulevard and Mapledale Street and will conclude at Hermosillo Park.

Businesses, service organizations, and clubs are encouraged to join the festivities and promote your group at this free community event.  If you are interested in participating in this year’s parade, please visit our website at www.norwalkca.gov to download an application or call (562) 929-5702 to receive an entry form.

Residents are also encouraged to participate in the parade by dressing up in their favorite Halloween costume and marching in the parade.  A costume contest will be conducted at the corner of Pioneer Boulevard and Mapledale Street beginning at 9:15 a.m.  Pre-registration is not required to participate in the costume contest.
