Assemblyman Travis Allen Chosen as Assistant Republican Leader for Strategic Advancement

SACRAMENTO – Today, Assemblyman Travis Allen, R-Huntington Beach, announced that he has been appointed by Assembly Republican Leader Kristin Olsen to serve as the Assistant Republican Leader for Strategic Advancement. The position will work closely with Republican Legislators to identify and implement major Republican opportunities throughout California.

“I am honored to serve all Californians in this leadership role,” said Assemblyman Allen. “We need to attract more companies and jobs to California, reduce our sky high tax rates, and improve our education system to prepare ourselves to once again lead the nation. I intend to continue our state’s significant momentum from the recent elections to rebuild a stronger California.”

Assemblyman Allen was first elected in 2012 to represent the 72nd Assembly District. Since being elected, Assemblyman Allen has established a record of fighting for hard working Californian taxpayers, defending civil liberties, and preserving California’s unique way of life. He has been known for speaking across the state and rallying supporters from all socioeconomic, political, and personal backgrounds.
