LONG BEACH (CNS) – Two people were in custody today in connection with a possibly
gang-related shooting that left two people wounded, one critically, in Long
Beach.
Savon Moun, 32 of Long Beach, was arrested in the 1900 block of East
10th Street shortly after the shooting, which occurred around 4:45 p.m. Monday
in the 800 block of Gaviota Avenue, police said. He was booked on suspicion of
attempted murder and is being held on $1 million bail.
A 17-year-old suspect whose name was withheld due to his age was caught
in the 800 block of Rose Avenue and also booked on suspicion of attempted
murder. He is being held without bail, according to Long Beach police Sgt.
