Armed Man Barricades Self in Carson

   CARSON (CNS) - An armed man barricaded himself today inside a Carson home.
   The sheriff's Carson station was notified of the suspect inside the
residence in the 500 block of East Moorehaven Drive at 6:34 a.m., according to
the sheriff's office.
   A sheriff's Special Weapons Team was sent to the location to assist the
sheriff's Carson station with the armed barricaded suspect and some surrounding
homes have been evacuated, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff's
Information Bureau
   There was no other immediate information.
