PICO RIVERA (CNS) - An unspecified threat against a middle school in Pico Rivera today prompted officials to close the campus, along with a nearby elementary school, while an investigation was conducted. The threat was made by a male who telephoned Rivera Middle School, 7200 Citronell Ave., about 6 a.m. before school opened, said Sgt. Marco Soto of the sheriff's Pico Rivera Station. That school and adjacent Rivera Elementary were closed while an investigation was conducted, he said.
