  • Joggers Knees says:

Seems like most the winners from the race, lately, have been from Africa. If this is a money making event, maybe Cerritos should hold a marathon too. City of La Palma hold a small marathon, so does city of Long Beach, time the city should get involved, hosted by the famous Cerritos Auto Mall; time the mall give back to the community, since in 2015, sold over 61,000 cars, selling more cars then compared to 1993.

  • Finish Line says:

Weldon Kirui of Kenya crossed the finish line first at 2:13:08 (unofficial) to win the L.A. Marathon. Kenya finished 1-2 as Willy Koitile crossed second about 15 seconds after Kirui. Ukranian Nataliya Lehonkova crossed the finish line at 2:30:39, her personal best to win the women’s L.A. Marathon.Stay tuned for some Valentine’s Day weddings along the route
