UPDATE: 73 people killed, and the drivers started shooting before they ran into the crowd, firearms explosives and grenades all found in truck. Terrorists were allowed to drive for 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) before they stopped the truck.

At least 30 people killed, 100 injured, when a truck slamed into a crowd in Nice, France. Terrorism suspected. Many people were celebrating Bastille day. Witnesses said a large transport truck drove into the crowd. Unconfirmed reports that police opened fire to stop truck and killed the driver. Emergency services are on scene helping those that are injured . Experts say terrorists timed the attack to cause maximum damage . Additional reports say over 50 people have been killed.
