Stewart named new executive director at La Habra Convalescent Hospital

LA HABRA, Calif. (Aug. 16, 2016) – La Habra Convalescent Hospital, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is welcoming a new executive director, Selina Stewart.

LA HABRA, Calif. (Aug. 16, 2016) – La Habra Convalescent Hospital, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is welcoming a new executive director, Selina Stewart.

“Selina is a dynamic, charismatic and compassionate leader who is transferring from Mirada Hills Rehabilitation Hospital in La Mirada after having led that facility to great success over the course of the last few years,” said Sam Magtanong, vice president of Life Care’s Golden State Region. “She brings experience and a demonstrated ability to have positive clinical and operational results in our operations.”
Stewart has worked in senior care for 13 years, almost 10 years as an administrator.
“I like being able to have a direct impact on our residents and make a difference in their lives every day,” said Stewart. “They have so much to give and a wide variety of experiences to learn from.”
Born in Dallas, Stewart grew up in Montebello, California. She earned her master’s degree in long-term care administration from the University of North Texas in Denton and her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Whittier College in Whittier, California. She currently resides in Whittier with her son, Alexander.
