  • Artesia Blvd. says:

    Theft at Cerritos Storage Unit.

Few years ago, LCCN did a story on the theft of sculpture, at same Storage Facility, along Artesia Boulevard, Cerritos, which was part of the Fine Arts public places, privately held. To my knowledge that sculpture has never been located after it was stolen. Most likely broken up into pieces and sold for scrap metal value.

Many sculptures throughout the city have been stolen.

City of Brea, has more security for their art in public spaces, such as: hedges, wrought iron fencing, placement in higher elevations, etc. CFAC needs to do more homework, city is loosing to much expensive art.

  • Meatless says:

    Meatless products.

Back in the 1950s- 1960s, there were many meatless products being sold and used by vegans and Seventh-day Adventists, who did not believe in eating meat. Yesteryears, Impossible Meat products were from soy meat, and then they had a beef, poultry or pork taste to it. They were very good, usually sold in canned goods . Some grocery stores carried soy meat and many health food stores carried it too. Health food stores were far and few between cities.
