Landfill did not term out tell the 1990s, and at that time, sections of it was converted: Public park, Equestrian area, Parking lot, Tennis Courts, and a small section is developed into tract homes called Country Hills Estates.
There is a disposal Outlet valve, for the gas located under the landfill area, to release methane gas, from deep down below.
Can access the Gardens, from both Hawthorne and Crenshaw Boulevard, plus Rolling Hills Rd, between Pacific Coast Highway and Palos Verdes Drive North.
