Many 90703 Hoods, had a younger new Postman yesterday and he said that there’s a few postal employees on our route who have been exposed to covid-19 so are taking the 14-day quarantine off work. They do not have full-blown covid-19 they’re just taking the precautions. That said, if any of the employees at the office come down with full-blown covid-19 they are mandatory to close down the post office station. This will delay and confuse our mail delivery.
The state said that there will be closing 22,000 Banks throughout the state because of covid-19, the Bank of America in Cypress, the Palma and Buena Park have all been closed because employees have full-blown covid-19. Bank of America in Artesia and possibly Rossmoor are the only two open I know of which are open.
Both the sheriff and La Palma police said that their services are extremely diluted because they do not want to come in contact with a covid-19 carrier, it means pulling a car off the road and trying to sanitize, and possibly putting the policeman in a 14-day quarantine. State laws states if city stops a homeless and test positive for Covid19, city has to pay for 14 day quarantine for the homeless person detained or arrested. Cerritos does not want to enter this water.
